Goomba- live action

These are my attempt to design a “live action” version of all the Mario characters that we as fans wish were in the movie. I even made up a simple layout for how I think a movie should be made (I most likely won’t stick it up here). All the monsters were designed with a kind of Jim Henson feel to them. Just think of the movie Dark Crystal. Tell me what you think. If you wish to color them, go ahead. Just give me a link.

Bio: Goomba’s are simples-minded wild animals that live at the edge of the Kingdoms (between the Mushroom Kingdom and the Koopa Kingdom). They are carnivores and stand at about two and a half feet tall. They thrive in dry and warm climates, yet are known to travel into the lush green fields of the Mushroom Kingdom to do their hunting. It is here that what little intelligence they have is seen. Most Goombas will rip off the tops of mushrooms and wear them on their heads as a type on camouflage. From there it is a matter of squatting low to the ground and simply waiting for their prey. They are often a brownish-red color.

Creation description: The Goomba’s were not just the first bad guys we came across in the game, but were also the easiest to kill. With that said I felt they should look creepy yet week; hence the small arms and beady eyes. Only now do I see they kind of resemble the small monsters from so many old 80’s B-movies.
